Our Work

Our work here in Tanzania is multifaceted. Renee's focus is agriculture, and she has teamed up with the Farming God's Way (FGW) organization in Harare, Zimbabwe and is now the FGW rep for Northern Tanzania. FGW first deals with the internal transformation of the individual before we can achieve external transformation. It just happens that agriculture is a beautiful example of when we obey and glorify God in everything we do that He will restore our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

It is true, if you give a man a fish you feed him for one day.  But you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime.  Through FGW agriculture training techniques we are committed to equiping nationals with this tool in order for them to achieve their full potiential and break the yoke of poverty forever.

As the Tanzanian FGW representative, Renee is currently working with our base staff along with leaders and students from various organizations and plans to work with pastors and teachers in the training colleges at TJF as soon as the college courses allow.

Over the past two years Josh has been training one of our local staff to replace him as the base manager.  Josh has now released Ephraim as the new Joshua Foundation Base Manager.  Josh now oversees projects as the Projects Manager and assists Renee with the FGW training.  He organizes community outreaches to aid the local villages as needs arise along with community development programs and water projects. Josh has been trained in Community Health Evangelism (CHE), as well as the CHE Micro Enterprise training course.  He is also in the process of obtaining his private pilots license.
